General conditions of sale :

A down payment of 30 – 50% will be required by our partners in the carpet industry to secure your purchase. Payments can be made by major credit card, or by international money order. Included are the shipping and handling charges, as well as insured delivery to your address. Full payment at the time of order, however, guarantees lower TVA in your home country (if you live in a country that applies TVA).

Prices quoted are in euros (including parcel post sending). Prices are valid only at time of order, or for the duration agreed upon with the customer. All prices are subject to change without notification. HOWEVER, ONCE YOU HAVE ORDERED A CARPET AND MADE A DOWN PAYMENT, THE AGREED-UPON PRICE IS GUARANTEED TO REMAIN THE SAME.

However, our guarantee to you is that we will secure for you the best possible price since we do not charge a commission. Again, as we have repeatedly said, your Kairouanese carpet will end up costing you approximately 50% less from us than if you were to buy it personally in the souk.

The customer has a grace period of three (3) days to confirm an initial order. After that period, the price is no longer guaranteed. The reason is simple: each carpet is handmade and unique; any carpet not claimed within three days will therefore be sold to another customer.

Choose the carpet or type of carpet you wish, specifying dimension, colors, and texture. We will happily provide you with a price quote and photos of available carpets that match your request. Custom-made carpets are also available.

Once your request has been submitted, we will either confirm your order, or ask for further details by telephone, fax, or mail. At this point the order can be confirmed or withdrawn.

Carpets are shipped to the customer in appropriate containers, approved by international postal services, and are guaranteed to arrive safe and sound.

Merchandise is delivered to the address given by the customer. In case delivery instructions are unclear or ambiguous, the merchandise will be returned to sender without reimbursing the customer. The same conditions apply if the customer changes his mind once the order has been placed and agreed upon.

The carpet(s) will be shipped immediately upon receipt and clearance of payment method. Please count 10-15 days for delivery within Europe ; for delivery to North America , shipping can take up to six weeks.

For a personalized item, manufacture and delivery will take longer. Please inquire for individual details

The customer takes entire responsibility for loss or damage during shipping. Should there be such damage or loss, it is the responsibility of the customer to file a complaint with the shipping agency within three (3) days of delivery.
