harkousThe “harkous” which has a very pleasant odour is prepared in a small vase. It is obtained starting from a mixture of grass and then heated with soft fire.

It is applied directly to the skin using a fine point. The drawn art are a collection of small points, as crosses, V shapes, but currently it became very different for very varied reasons.

Nowadays, the “harkous” tends to replace tattooing gradually.

It is applied to the hands and feet of a married woman the day before of marriage.

The bride rests to the maximum where an integral depilation of her skin with products containing honey, lemons and water (“Tounkia”).
