Kitfa :
It is considered to be the oldest well of Kairouan. Okba Ibn Nafaa constructed the Big Mosque (670AD) next to Om Iyadh well. Nowadays, this well is called Bir Tekfa (situated approximately 15m from the Great Mosque to the East side facing Bab Rihana (Rihana Door). |

National Office of Handicraft :
’Dar ez-Zarbia House of the carpet (of ONA, the National Handicraft Establishment).
Bab (Door) El Jelladine, Bab Tounes and Bab El Khoukha :
were rebuilt by the Hussainit sovereign from 1750 to 1722AD.
The carpet Monument
:
A donation from the Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali to the city of Kairouan (1999). It was constructed using traditional ceramics by the native artist Hassine Mokdadi.
